Sherry |
Manzanilla und Fino sind die beiden ganz leichten und hellen Sherrys. Apfel- bis Salzaromen.
Amontillado ist ebenfalls leicht, aber mit reiferen Aromen und schon dunkler (helles braun).
Palo Cortado ist farblich und geschmacklich zwischen Amontillado und Oloroso.
Oloroso ist sehr aromatisch und intensiv, hat mehr Stoff und Fülle. Farblich ist er dunkelbraun. Walnussaromen und Trockenobst sind die intensivsten Aromen.
Cream ist süßer Sherry.
Pedro Ximinez oder PX ist extrem süß. Ein Konzentrat von Nuss und Pflaumenaromen und fast schwarz in der Farbe. |
